The Nomad is a 38 foot Chris
Craft Commander. Built in 1972 Holland, Michigan by skilled
craftsmen and marine designers. An all fiberglass classic, Chris
Craft Commanders are legendary on the Great Lakes and all over world
for their strength, safety, and seaworthiness. It has a beam of 13
feet.
The Nomad is Sedan model, which
means there’s lots of room inside to get out of the sun or other weather if
you want to. Still, there’s lots of fishing room too. There’s plenty of room
to stretch out up on the bow too, if you’re into sunbathing.
Equipment includes all the latest
high tech electronics such as GPS/Chartplotter, Radar, Autopilot,
marine radio, fishfinder, speed and water temperature, and Coast Guard
approved safety equipment. The Nomad is inspected regularly by the Michigan
DNR.
Twin engines on board are 454 Chris
Craft Crusaders, 350 Horsepower each. The boat is maintained constantly to
assure safe and efficient operation.
Fishing equipment is provided, with
ski trolling and downrigger fishing being the two fishing systems used.
